这张专辑是中国大陆最出色的电影原声唱片,它诞生在80年代。
电影《摇滚青年》是淘金和马羚主演的,其实根本不是反映摇滚青年的,而是一帮霹雳舞仔的。音乐也不能算是摇滚乐,只不过带点迪斯科风格。电影其实没什么意思,但原声绝对值得收藏。
影片中的音乐、歌曲非常好听,曲作者徐沛东功不可没。西北风时期的唱匠孙国庆、屠洪刚、王迪和范琳琳等在唱片中都发挥得极其出色。
屠洪刚唱的"给你一片温柔"是一首感人的情歌,屠洪刚的演绎非常到位,其实在影片中这首歌是范琳琳唱的;王迪的"生活就该痛痛快快"当年也曾是迪厅的热门曲目;孙国庆的两首歌也充分展现了他出众的唱功;另,专辑中的几首演奏曲音乐也都不错。

沙宝亮参演过电影《摇滚青年》,在片中大跳霹雳舞。
那时候放了一部电影叫《摇滚青年》,里边有几个跳霹雳舞的小伙跳得很好,我想那时候他们应该是全中国最顶级的了。前些日子看沙宝亮的访谈节目,说他就是那几个小伙当中的一个,这才对上号。
沙宝亮说,他也曾经很“摇滚”。那是拍摄于1988年的一部电影《摇滚青年》,沙宝亮在电影里扮演晚上在紫禁城边上拼舞的街头霹雳舞迷,没有对白,没有多少镜头,甚至在镜头里都认不出是他。但每每回想起当年的那段从演经历,他还是激动难抑。那个时候他还是杂技团的呢,不过因为在杂技团,很多霹雳舞的技巧动作做起来到是得心应手。
原来《正大综艺》的外景女主持朱迅15岁的时候还拍过电影——《摇滚青年》,沙宝亮是当年培训她跳霹雳舞的老师。
(以下摘自央视主持人朱迅的博客)舞蹈老师同样是一个新新人类——沙宝亮,简称沙宝。沙宝跟我(朱迅)差不多大,可比我老练多了。他的本行是杂技演员,同时也是赫赫有名的“震动队”的主力。他酷极了,花几块钱在摊儿上买回件运动衣,画上只猫状物,就成了大名牌——PUMA。
10多年后再次碰上他的时候,我几乎认不出来了,深情大气的《暗香》中已经看不出当年霹雳少年的身影。当时的沙宝老师简直是魔鬼式的训练,面对没有一点舞蹈基础的我,他在我的宿舍里拉了一根绳,没商量,每天要钻上200回,练习霹雳舞中关节的灵活性。舞鞋磨破了3双,脚板蹭出了大泡,终于小有成效。
